We have a team of 12+ proven associates (Consultants and Engineers) that have designed, and are to implement infrastructure and services in the Niger Delta of Nigeria, in Africa. The Niger Delta has a population of 33,000,000 and covers more than 90,000 square kilometers (35,000 square miles). This part of Africa has the eight largest known reserves of Oil and Gas. Efforts are now being made to use these natural resource revenues to improve the regions infrastructure and create jobs. Planned and proposed projects include:
oA Business Processing Outsourcing Center to create 3,000 plus jobs.
oA Web based Monitor & Evaluation (M&E) and Geographical Information System (GIS), for the purpose of monitoring the performance of contracts and the use of project funding.
oMultiple security systems composed of strategically located cameras to deter and detect hostilities near high traffic areas, government facilities, and banks. Such systems will include facial and license plate recognition systems working with national and international criminal databases. Other security consultations are expected to be included in pending projects.
oA Virtualized data center for the initial purpose of securely protecting government and banking data for the region. Follow up efforts will provide low cost software application capabilities to support the most economical development of new small businesses in the region.
oThe building of critical telecom infrastructure for the purposes of bringing broadband Internet access capabilities to the infrastructures to be built, and the region.
oThe creation of approximately 40 E-Learning facilities throughout the region utilizing the latest in audio-video teleconferencing systems and Diaspora teachers in the U.S. and U.K.
oA Hosted IP Telephone system for all government offices and the homes of government officials.
Evaluation of new technologies and suppliers seeking a lower cost alternatives to buried optical fiber infrastructures. Current focus is on Free Space Optics, Millimeter Wave RF, and other RF, to create a VPN Mesh backbone. For customer terminations the focus is on the new Wi-Fi 802.11n/r/i/ standards. This network configuration is proving to be more than adequate for end-user distribution in cities, and large resorts for the "Triple Play" (fixed and mobile voice, Internet access and Interactive IP-HD-Television). Not only do these networks create new revenues for the provider, but they also provide significant performance and economical benifits to the consumer. Current configurations can supports up to 10 Gegabits of transmission speed in the backbone network, and 270 to 600 Megabits of transmission speed to consumers, with significantly lower costs & faster deployment than buried optical fiber.
Evaluations of suppliers and new systems for Interactive IP Television (IPTV), Video on Demand (VOD), and Inbound & Outbound Call Center support for both public and corporate entities.
